January 3 Genesis 5:1-7:24: “The Family of Adam,” “The Wickedness and Judgment of Man,” “Noah Pleases God,” “The Ark Prepared,” and “The Great Flood.” “Two by two they went into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the the flood were on the earth.” (Genesis 7: 9 - 10 NKJV)

Matthew 3:7-4:11: “John the Baptist Prepares the Way,” “John Baptizes Jesus,” and “Satan Tempts Jesus.” “And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3: 17 NKJV)
